A l'issue d'une maîtrise de Droit international et d'un master de management- métiers de la culture, Mathilde Caillol commence sa carrière professionnelle avec le Ministère des Affaires étrangères.
Après une expérience au service culturel du Consulat général de France à Boston, Mathilde part en tant qu'Attachée culturelle adjointe au Consulat général de France de Québec basé à Montréal. Deux ans plus tard, elle est envoyée à Los Angeles comme Attachée audiovisuelle adjointe au service audiovisuel auprès de l'Ambassade de France aux Etats-Unis. Pendant trois ans elle travaille étroitement sur les sorties et la promotion de films français avec les distributeurs américains comme Sony Pictures Classics et IFC.
Mathilde travaille également pour des festivals de films, à la coordination puis en tant que programmatrice (AFI Fest., L.A Greek Film Festival) et collabore avec New American Vision sur la distribution de films etrangers aux Etats-Unis.
Après avoir suivi un programme de production à UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, Mathilde monte une société de production à Los Angeles ; elle produit des clips vidéos et accompagne de jeunes réalisateurs avec leur premier long métrage.
Actuellement Mathilde développe plusieurs projets pour le cinéma et la télévision.

After completing a Bachelors Degree in International Law and a Master of Business Management-Culture, Mathilde Caillol began her career with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Few months after an internship at the cultural department of the Consulate of France in Boston, Mathilde went to Canada as Deputy Cultural Attachée with the French Consulate in Quebec, based in Montreal. Two years later she was sent to Los Angeles as Director of the Film & TV Office of the French Consulate. For three years she worked closely on releases and promotion of French films with U.S. distributors such as Sony Pictures Classics and IFC Films.
Mathilde also works for film festivals, as a coordinator and then as a programmer (Sunny Side of the Docs, AFI Fest., L.A Greek Film Festival) and joins forces with New American Vision to distribute foreign films in the U.S.
After obtaining a certificate from the production program at UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television, Mathilde started a production company in Los Angeles, she produces music videos and collaborates with young filmmakers on their first feature film.
Mathilde is currently developing several projects for film and television.
