Dovilé Daveluy has just defended her doctoral dissertation about the representations of African women in the American and French media at Rutgers University in the U.S. She is interested in international media, human rights and advocacy journalism, and has taught various journalism and communication classes in France and the U.S. After living in Vilnius, Budapest, and New York, Dovilé now lives in the suburbs of Paris with her husband and her son.
